In the majority of cases, a double-blind assessment, involving independent reviewers, is conducted, and the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief holds responsibility for ensuring the academic quality of the publication process, including decisions on acceptance, approval of Guest Editors and special issue topics, and the appointment of new Editorial Board members. The reviewers' identities remain confidential to the authors. The journal endeavors to communicate the reviewers' feedback to the authors, and manuscripts accepted pending revision undergo re-evaluation by the Editorial Board.
