Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has affected many sectors throughout the world including the education sector. All educational institutions were instructed to close when the government implemented the Movement Control Order (MCO), giving birth to a new way of learning- the online learning. However, the effectiveness of online learning is questionable when it comes to Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), which requires practical skills. In Malaysia, there are many courses offered in the technical and vocational education and one of them is Upper Secondary Vocational Education (USVE) in the field of Automotive. There are 29 articles in the Scopus search that discussed on the topic in general but only 24 of them fit the topic of this research. The research analysis found that the online teaching and learning coupled with the creative delivery of the educators is the best method for vocational education and training.
