Abstract

The study illustrates the similarities and differences between Arabic and Chinese phonetic systems through comparison. The study aims to explore the pronunciation errors of Arabic consonants among Chinese students learning Arabic and the reasons behind the pronunciation errors. The study found that Chinese students tend to make consonants, finding it easy to pronounce ه / h / as h / x / or ح / ħ /. Ultimately, the study could improve Chinese students' comprehensive understanding of the Arabic phonetic system and avoid similar errors in learning consonants.
