Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the attitudes of the primary school teachers towards the use of computerized educational games in the teaching of English language. The study sample consisted of (82) teachers and teachers who study the basic subjects in the English language. A questionnaire was distributed to collect data. The results showed that the attitudes of the primary school teachers towards the use of computerized educational games in the teaching of the English language in the schools of Karak governorate were high and there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) in the attitudes of the primary school teachers towards the use of computerized educational games due to the variable of experience in favor of the category less than 5 years, while there were no differences due to gender variables and scientific qualification. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommends the need to increase the interest of the teachers of the basic stage using computerized educational games in teaching English skills to students.
